陈饼桌是会幕里的器皿之一，用皂荚木做成，再包上纯金。陈饼桌长二肘(90厘米:3英尺)，高一肘半(67.5厘米:2.2英尺)，宽一肘(45厘米:1.5英尺)。陈饼桌上始终放着十二块饼，只有祭司才能吃这饼(利未记24:5-9)。
陈饼桌的特点有:四围各有一掌宽的横梁；横梁上镶着金牙边；四个金环，安在桌子的四个角上；金环里包金的皂荚木杠子用于搬运桌子。陈饼桌上的器皿:盘子、酒杯、碗和盛酒的壶也是用金子做的。
出埃及记37:11-12说，“又包上精金，四围镶上金牙边。桌子的四围各做一掌宽的横梁，横梁上镶着金牙边。”在神的屋圣所里的陈饼桌，有一掌宽的横梁，横梁上镶着金牙边。神为何命令摩西安上这个横梁呢？一掌宽的横梁凸出桌子约十厘米，是为了防止饼从桌子上滑落。
