陳餅桌是會幕裏的器皿之一，用皂莢木做成，再包上純金。陳餅桌長二肘(90釐米:3英尺)，高一肘半(67.5釐米:2.2英尺)，寬一肘(45釐米:1.5英尺)。陳餅桌上始終放著十二塊餅，只有祭司才能吃這餅(利未記24:5-9)。
陳餅桌的特點有:四圍各有一掌寬的橫梁；橫梁上鑲著金牙邊；四個金環，安在桌子的四個角上；金環裏包金的皂莢木杠子用於搬運桌子。陳餅桌上的器皿:盤子、酒杯、碗和盛酒的壺也是用金子做的。
出埃及記37:11-12說，“又包上精金，四圍鑲上金牙邊。桌子的四圍各做一掌寬的橫梁，橫梁上鑲著金牙邊。”在神的屋聖所裏的陳餅桌，有一掌寬的橫梁，橫梁上鑲著金牙邊。神爲何命令摩西安上這個橫梁呢？一掌寬的橫梁凸出桌子約十釐米，是爲了防止餅從桌子上滑落。
