  • We spent a fall weekend in Cherry Log, GA, the cute Blue Ridge Mountain town known for its wineries, apple orchards, amazing fried apple pies(!!!) and it's gorgeous fall colors during the autumn season. The best way to do Cherry Log is in a cabin and we stayed in the most gorgeous fall cabin in the trees, hot tub and all, run by a fellow squaddie! On this trip we also drove to nearby Chattanooga, TN for a day trip to explore Rock City and Ruby Falls.
