  • Player Spotlight w/LJ Phillips
    May 17 2025
Today the Train picks up another passenger in Wichita's own LJ Phillips formerly of Wichita NWHS now a member of the South Dakota Coyotes of the MVC whom he credits in him making up his mind to be a Coyote. It was during his down time (Injury) they showed that they cared not just about the football player but the person. LJ credits his past and present teachers and coaches for helping him get to where he's at. More importantly he wouldn't be where he's at without his parents to whom he gives credit for his humility and his faith in God. LJ also talks about his football journey dating back to his days with the Bears and facing John Randle and some of his memorable HS games and the experience and atmosphere.

  • Player Spotlight w/Alan Hanna of Maize HS Eagles
    Apr 19 2025
Today I'm honored to have Alan Hanna on as my guest on the podcast. We talked about his influences, his enjoyment playing with his teammates, and how he thrives on playing on enemy courts. How that energy from the opposing team fuels his passion, his flair for the game and his swag. As for if he will play college ball remains to be seen but what we do know is he also excels in track and will be going to Kansas State on a track scholarship. Thank you Alan.
