Dr Joe Brierley, Director of Bioethics at Great Ormond Street Hospital and a Consultant in Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care, sits down for a conversation with Professor Francesco Muntoni, who is a paediatric neurologist at GOSH with an interest in the clinical and molecular aspects of neuromuscular disorders. He is also director of the Dubowitz neuromuscular centre, a leading clinical and research centre for children with neuromusclar disorders.
They discuss the legal, ethical and practicalities of introducing innovative therapies into paediatric practise.
