ASTRO has recently released its first consensus guidelines on the treatment of anal cancer. This podcast, led by Michael Buckstein, MD PhD, features Dr. Mary Feng, lead author of the guidelines, and Dr. Chris Hallemeier as they discuss the nuances of the new guidelines, especially as it pertains to the more challenging aspects involving radiation for anal cancer. The podcast also explores some of the newer aspects of treatment for this rare disease and where we might be headed in the future.
