This story talks about the emotional condition of the family and the Captain Saurabh Kalia himself, who was only 22 years old when he was captured by the Pakistani Army in May 1999 that started the Kargil War. After 22 days in captivity, the bodies of the young army officer and five sepoys were returned to India. While Saurabh was going for the war he gave his mother a signed cheque so that if he gets late while coming back the mother can withdraw the money from his bank account that cheque is still with his mother.
