Dear Listener,

Why should you listen to this story now?
"In the lead-up to the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we asked a couple of dozen current and former FBI agents who were at the attack sites and around the world that day to tell us about the investigation they led, the terrorists they captured and interrogated, and the crime scenes they spent months digging through. The result is an original, sweeping, and active saga of the FBI’s 9/11 investigation—the biggest case in FBI history. Many of the stories had never been told, much less heard together. The news of the Taliban’s sudden return to power in Afghanistan adds an unexpected importance to this story. The war in Afghanistan was a consequence of 9/11. Twenty years ago, the FBI embedded with the military and helped them identify targets to dismantle al-Qaeda and capture suspects. Back then, the Taliban gave Osama bin Laden safe harbor. We hope that history will not repeat itself. We also hope that listeners will find this series not just riveting but also valuable as the history of 9/11 and its aftermath continues to be written and understood." –- Peter McDonnell and Bobby Chacon, creators and writers of After the Fall

Wow. I'm impressed. Pretty FBI-centric, but good.

Wouldve loved more from some non-FBI folks, but I've learned alot & really enjoyed it.

Fascinating historical info

Graham has a superior and pleasing speaking voice making a desperately sad chapter in American history easier to take in and learn from.

This book is a tribute to the people who worked and to families that lost someone on 9/11

Listening the book After The Fall was priceless to me because I didn’t know how big was the impact of this terrorist attack. I didn’t know that so many people, organizations and civilians were involved to find the perpetrators of these attacks. I cried and in some episodes I listened over and over to understand questions that came to my mind when I was listening. This book deserves a 5 stars

Brilliant Collaboration, Expert Retelling.

If there's an award to be won for audio books, this wins, hands down.

Flows nicely and I learned quite a bit about the process of how 9/11 happened.

a version of the 911 story I had not heard

this is very well done. I have heard stories from Jim and Tim Clemente on Best Case Worst Case but to hear them in conjunction with other FBI agents was really touching and informative. Understanding the scope as well as limitations of the FBI during this time was frustrating but important knowledge.

Excellent

Wow! The only thing missing here was the video footage because this is pretty an immersing documentary instead of just an audiobook. The quality of the sound, the cohesive and sequence of each episode is unmatched. And, this is one of best the documentaries of its kind. New information that was not available or shared somewhere else. Thank you.

Great listen

This series is a great listen for everyone, especially those too young to remember 9/11. I was only 2/12 on 9/11 and this series helped me get a greater understanding of the 9/11 plot and our efforts to bring the terrorists to justice.
