Vietnam Memorial Story is Captivating

I loved learning about the story behind the Vietnam Memorial. Maya Lin deserves a much more renown place in our classroom history books! The host reads in a way tjat engages me, and the sound effects and personal perspective of its various "actors" bring the story to life!

Well done!

Good summary of the Cold War from the perspective of America. The historian who wrote this series is quite the Reagan fan and Carter critic. Every historian will bring his/her bias to the narrative, but this narrative was as good as they come and very easy for the casual history fan to listen to.

should be required knowledge for every U.S. citizen!

i am hooked on this series, particularly anything from 1865-1941, the critical period when our country went from backwater land of schemers and mob rule to actually being a force for good globally.
very intimate history of periods and events. I realize the voice of good has mostly been ridiculed and drowned out, and our public has always found it easy to engage in confirmation bias and consistently prevent any oppressed group from getting justice. we need to reckon honestly with our past and ask ‘would it really kill us to do better?’
