We wanted to take a break from the film reviews this episode and talk about the latest pandemic phenomena, Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

At first I thought this was a game for children, and to some extent, that's true. But I couldn't ignore how many of my friends were oddly obsessed with this little Nintendo Switch game that found its niche, or nook, as millions of people sit trapped indoors.

We gave it a go and have been playing it almost non-stop since! In fact, taking the time to work on this is costing me bells! [Uhm, that's the currency in Animal Crossing . . . we get into that, and more, in the show]
