  • We return briefly to partway through the party's conversation with Breon, to clarify some questions. These include whether or not he is the leader of the Splinters, "Ben" whom Shalei referred to (no); why the Book of Jukkud is dangerous to people with with psionically sensitive minds (because Jukkud's major means of lashing out are psychic); and can the power in the Radiant City help restore Breon to his body (no). They then convince Folmar to accompany them to Qrulen'Vais. Before they can leave however, the gang spots a scouting force of Avarian soldiers corralling a Splinter and two Elven sorcerers. After rescuing them and escaping, the Splinter, Deremis Dance, leads them to a hideout in the Holdurgor mountains, where they find Breonin Tyr, the Manyscaled, another manifestion of Breon, leader of the Splinters.
