About this listen

Listen to the trailer today and the full podcast on 9/16/21.

What would you do if you found out you were living in a real-life murder mystery? Apartment 515 is a true-crime podcast about Rod Covlin, a part-time professional backgammon player in wealthy Westchester, NY, who stood trial for the murder of his millionaire ex-wife. It’s also the story of Jeff Pearlman, the veteran sports journalist and best-selling author of such books as “Football for a Buck” and “Showtime,” who discovered his single-dad neighbor was actually an accused wife-killer.

In this thrilling podcast, we follow Jeff as he becomes obsessed with the case, tracking down every sordid detail of his neighbor’s secret life and alleged crimes - and finally confronting Covlin face-to-face in prison to find out the truth behind all the stories.

It felt odd giving 5 stars to such a sad story but this is written and preformed very well.

my batlike ears were going through Hell. low talking & the interviews pitching UP & DOWN & faint... Ugh. above that I'm a SURVIVOR of "Date Rape" & u can b sure those kids r being subject to brainwashing. narcissistic thing. MI city btw is phonetically "nov eye". *welcome* I'm very glad this was done. I'd really like more women to help others again. ♡ I miss being friendly in public. ¤ KEEPING THE # ON HAND >>> DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HOTLINE 《《《 !!! WRITE IT DOWN & SHARE IT IN PUBLIC RESTROOMS, WOMEN'S STORES FITTING ROOMS, OB-GYN LOBBU, & more places that men just won't be around to see! yes? for women. thank you for your podcast! I'll b waiting for updates if any. Hoping THANK YOU AUDIBLE

Apartment 515 by Jeff Pearlman is a great podcast series for those who enjoy true crime. The story was super engaging, and the narration was controlled and clear. What I loved most was the length of each episode (no longer than 30 min each) because I was able to listen to a full episode on my way to work and listen to a few more once I got home. Because they were shorter, I got through the whole series rather quickly, but don't let the length fool you; it does not skimp on content! If you like this genre, or if you're interested in finding out if true crime is for you, I think this is the perfect choice! I really liked Apartment 515, and I hope to listen to more from Pearlman in the future! 5/5 stars!

Thank you for reading my review. I hope it was helpful. :-)

Give this one a try!!

Just so it’s disclosed I do not like podcast and gave this one a chance. It is better than I thought it would be. It wasn’t too loud like most are overbearing. Interesting but not enough detail. Where is the gore? Too much given away early on and then you expected it to happen and then it was not as bad as your mind built it up to need more weirdness. I like The length of the story. And I like the characters voices they were real authentic sounding a real life scenario unfolding. I would Recommend if you’re in a hurry and like murder mysteries.

Simple easy story interesting.
