  • Teen Speak And More Chip Leighton's New Book What Time Is Noon
    Nov 22 2024
When Chip Leighton started posting funny exchanges with his kids on TikTok in 2021, he didn’t expect it to turn into a community of parents sharing laughs—and occasionally commiseration—over the trials of raising teenagers. Leighton’s videos have now garnered over 250 million views and feature classic moments like “What time is noon?” and “Where do I buy pasta water?”. His debut book, What Time is Noon, captures these moments and much more in a hilarious collection perfect for parents, kids, or anyone who appreciates the absurdity of family life. "This book is about finding joy in the chaos," Leighton explains. "One day you’re a cool parent, and the next, your kid tells you not to wear mom jeans to their school again." Through laugh-out-loud anecdotes, silly quizzes, and playful charts, Leighton takes readers on a relatable ride through parenting teenagers—offering just enough tongue-in-cheek advice to make you feel like you’ve got it all figured out... for now. Beyond the humor, “What Time is Noon” carries an underlying message: even when teens seem distant, they still crave connection—just on their terms. Leighton uses humor as a bridge between generations, showing parents that they don’t need to have all the answers, just a willingness to laugh along the way.

  • Embracing Harmony In Muisic And In Life Cameron Wright From Season 26 Of NBC's The Voice
    Nov 22 2024
Born and raised by a touring musician mother, Cameron Wright was destined for a music career. By training under her mother, Cameron became known as a local sensation by age 11. They performed at all the local venues and recorded a demo, which was later heard by Stevie Wonder and led to performing a duet with him at a concert. After high school, Cameron moved in with their grandparents in St. Louis and instantly felt reconnected to their roots. Cameron started writing songs there, which played an intricate part in developing their sound today. By 2015, Cameron had built a strong social media presence and moved to L.A. for new musical opportunities. Within two months of moving to L.A., they booked major shows with artists such as the 1975 and later performed at Beyoncé's Beychella. In 2023, Cameron learned their grandmother was very ill, so they canceled all musical obligations to be in St. Louis with her. Two weeks later, she passed away from breast cancer. Through the grief, Cameron enhanced their relationship with their mom and is now back living in Minneapolis, thriving in the local music scene.
