The 21° Capricorn Full Moon glows bright on Tuesday, July 13, at 11:37am PDT/2:37pm EDT/6:37pm GMT, as the closest super moon of the year, known as the Grandmother’s Moon, and it’s bringing attention to outdated patterns of thinking as it opposes the sensitivity of sentimental Mercury in Cancer.

Your wisdom is within. The Sun in Cancer is reflecting what you’re feeling with a discerning awareness of what you need with the Capricorn Moon in the Virgo portion of its sign, offering earthy, practical intelligence to live your life skillfully in a universe of infinite potential.

You don’t need to look to others for security or approval, you can nurture what matters to you through your own focus and attention.

You may be sharing what you’ve been up to in the past two weeks as the Moon waxes to fullness with the light of what you’ve been creating in new forms for relationships, business, and all inspired endeavors.

As you may know, I’m a Cancerian, with Cancer rising, and Libra Moon that’s in my 4th house, which is Cancer’s house of the home, soul and family.

Facilitating growth and healing is my most satisfying and compelling work.

With my new solar return coming just before my birthday next Tuesday, I’m reflecting on the past year and defining how I can best share my intuitive understanding of your emotional, physical and spiritual needs for our mutual liberation.

I’m not ending this podcast, but I will likely change hosts again and probably start another one just for meditations.

Like you under this Capricorn Moon, I have to be realistic about how much time I have for this form of expression.

It’s summer time here — the only couple of months when it’s not raining in Portland, Oregon, where I’m based.

And the parents of my future daughter-in-law are arriving from Australia for a three week stay next week. I have family to take care of.
