This bacterium causes a severe and sometimes fatal systemic infection in the very young, older frail individuals, and those with weakened immune systems. Listeria can also trigger miscarriages and stillbirths. Affected products are Aunt Mid’s Fresh Sliced Mushrooms, Peeters Mushroom Farm Cremini Sliced, and Peeters Mushroom Farm Thick Slice Mushrooms. All affected products are marked with a best-before date of July 25, 2025.
These recalled mushrooms were sold in Michigan and Ohio.
