I know what it’s like to feel hopeless, alone, and exhausted from the constant struggle—longing for the day when life finally feels lighter, more joyful, and worth waking up for. I’ve been in that dark place, wondering if things would ever get better.

For years, I was in a toxic, emotionally and financially abusive marriage. I lost my confidence, my spark, and my sense of self. Then came wave after wave of loss and heartbreak. My sister and my dad were diagnosed with cancer at the same time. My dad recovered—twice—but my sister passed away when we were in our early 40s. Soon after, my mother developed dementia. She eventually moved into a care home and died during the pandemic lockdown, so I couldn’t even visit her in person during her final year of life.

Geoffrey Mark is a walking encyclopedia of show business history. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised all over the country, Mr. Mark has worked as an actor, singer, stand-up comedian, radio host, and Grammy nominated writer. He writes and produces documentaries and reality shows for cable television.

Jazz singer, comedian, radio show personality, show business historian, actor, producer and best-selling author Geoffrey Mark is marking his fiftieth anniversary in show business. Mr. Mark got started professionally when he was only fifteen, co-starring in "L'il Abner" at the Colony 7 Dinner Theater outside of Washington, D.C.
