Excusing family violence and shaming listeners
In the latest episode, the hosts say that they are declining to touch on the Amber Massey family violence case. The cite a desire to refrain from gossiping, which is admirable, and they commend Miss Massey for her revelation of childhood trauma. As a survivor of childhood trauma (of a different sort than Miss Massey), this is completely unacceptable. Trauma does not make me inclined to violence against my family. Giving a pass on family violence is out of line.
