Dixie is an amazing storyteller, and has a huge heart of gold. Her passion is bringing people together to feel safe and loved, accepted and included! - no matter our sexuality.
Using Bawdy as a platform, Dixie helps us connect through our shared experiences. These stories help us understand people who might be very diffrent from us. Maybe we aren't all celebrated storytellers, but most of us know the pain of losing a beloved pet. Maybe we don't have a BDSM fetish, but who hasn't felt fear of rejection when sharing something intrinsic to ourselves for the first time.
She calls herself a Sexual Folklorist, and that fits. History books are great for dates and locations, but to know people, look to their words. Their lives are shared through diaries and court records, paintings and poetry. Our lives and values are recorded in our folklore. And a huge part of these lives and values are our morphing views on sex. Thank goodness we have Dixie to record them!
