• ALERT - SPEED LIMIT CHANGE - 10.24.24
    Oct 24 2024
The Town of Bedford would like to inform residents and motorists that new reduced speed limits have been implemented on Oakwood and Longwood streets as part of our ongoing efforts to improve safety for everyone in our community.

To help residents and visitors adjust to these changes, the Bedford Police Department is offering a 30-day grace period starting immediately. During this period, officers will issue warnings rather than citations for minor speed violations in the affected areas. We encourage all drivers to use this time to become familiar with the new speed limits and to drive carefully.

Following the grace period, the new speed limits will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our community.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our roads safe.
