  • Episode 244: Evil Beasts: Unveiling Demonic Hybrids and Prophetic Warnings
    Jul 14 2025

    Summary:
In this episode of Bible Mysteries, Scott and John take a closer look at the mysterious term evil beasts found throughout Scripture. Are these references to wild animals alone—or do they point to something more insidious? The discussion investigates whether evil beasts signify malevolent hybrids, demonic entities, or spiritual forces opposing God’s plan. By examining prophetic passages and cross-referencing ancient symbolism, the hosts reveal how these creatures may serve as signs of divine judgment and spiritual conflict in both ancient and future contexts.

    Scriptures Explored:

    • Leviticus 26:1–7, 21–24
    • Ezekiel 5:5–17; 34:23–25; 8:6–10
    • Daniel 7:2–8, 16–17
    • 2 Peter 2:9–13
    • Jude 1:8–10
    • Revelation 4:6–8; 13:1–2; 18:1–2
    • Zechariah 13:1–2
    • Matthew 24:37
    • 1 Corinthians 15:32
    • Titus 1:12–13
Topics Covered: What Are Evil Beasts in the Bible? Scott and John discuss how the Bible uses the term evil beasts, showing that it may go beyond dangerous wildlife. Are these references metaphorical, symbolic of spiritual enemies—or even literal demonic hybrids? Translation Nuances and Hidden Meaning Evil vs. Harmful—What’s the Difference? Looking at Hebrew root words, the hosts explain how the translation of evil as merely harmful in some Bibles weakens the term’s spiritual implications. True evil, they argue, implies conscious malice—not just instinct. Beasts as Living Entities The Hebrew word for beast (חַי – chai) denotes life, vitality, and community—opening the door to viewing these entities not just as animals, but as living beings with intent, potentially even spirits. Evil Beasts as Demonic Hybrids and Judgment Connections to the Nephilim

Are evil beasts a reference to abominable hybrids—offspring of fallen angels and human women? The pattern seen in Genesis 6 may mirror the warnings of Ezekiel and Revelation.

    Instruments of Divine Judgment
God uses evil beasts in Leviticus and Ezekiel as part of His judgment for disobedience. The pattern suggests these may be more than natural threats—they may represent divine or demonic agencies in judgment.
Symbolism in Prophecy: Kingdoms, Creatures, and Corruption
    Beasts in Daniel and Revelation

In Daniel 7, monstrous beasts rise from the sea—lion, bear, leopard, and a dreadful final creature. These mirror Revelation’s apocalyptic beast and symbolize pagan kingdoms empowered by dark spiritual forces.
    Mythology, Hybrids, and Satanic Counterfeits

From Egyptian gods to the Minotaur and Sphinx, history is filled with veneration of hybrid creatures. The hosts argue these reflect satanic distortions of God’s order and are echoed in modern occult symbolism.

    Hope in Prophetic Restoration
    A Future Without Evil Beasts
Ezekiel 34 promises that God will remove evil beasts from the land, restoring safety and peace. Zechariah 13 echoes this, declaring the removal of unclean spirits. The ultimate fulfillment will be during Christ’s reign.
    Key Takeaways:

    • Evil beasts in the Bible are not just dangerous animals—they may represent spiritual entities, demonic hybrids, or symbolic judgments.
    • Translation matters. “Evil” carries a weight of malicious intent that “harmful” does not.
    • Prophetic books like Daniel and Revelation use beasts as metaphors for satanic kingdoms and fallen powers.
    • The repeated presence of hybrids in myth and occult traditions suggests a deeper spiritual pattern at work.
    • God promises a day when these beasts—literal or spiritual—will be removed entirely.
    Final Thoughts:

Evil beasts are more than a literary device—they are a warning. Whether physical threats, spiritual adversaries, or manifestations of judgment, their presence in Scripture demands our attention. Scott and John encourage listeners to read these passages not only as ancient history but as timely revelations that may speak to the battles we face in our own world today.

  • Episode 243 — The Mystery of the Curse Part II: End-Time Prophecies, Israel’s Role and the Path to Redemption
    Jul 7 2025

Episode 243 — The Mystery of the Curse Part II: End-Time Prophecies, Israel’s Role and the Path to Redemption

In this episode of Bible Mysteries Podcast, Scott Mitchell and John Potts continue their in-depth examination of the biblical curse and its relevance in today’s world. Building on Part I, they take a closer look at how ancient prophecies, historical defiance, and present-day events intersect in light of Scripture.

Scott and John explore whether the curses described in the Bible are actively at work on Earth or poised to manifest more fully as part of God’s final judgment. The conversation draws connections between ongoing global tensions — particularly involving Israel — and end-times prophecies found in books like Daniel and Revelation.

    Key topics covered include:

    • The role of Israel in biblical judgment and the significance of its spiritual restoration.
    • The symbolism of the seals in Revelation, with the white, red, black, and pale horses representing deception, warfare, famine, and death.
    • The rejection of Christ by Israel’s leaders and its link to enduring curses.
    • The potential identity and mission of the two witnesses — Moses and Elijah — in the Great Tribulation.
    • The influence of Nephilim hybrids in leading humanity toward end-times deception.
The hope of personal redemption through faith in Jesus Christ, who bore the curse for humanity.

    Scriptures:

All Scripture references are from the King James Version of the Bible.

    Psalm 37:22, Psalm 119:21, Isaiah 34:1-5, 2 Peter 2:12-15a, Jude 1:12-13, Jeremiah 17:5-10, Jeremiah 29:17-19, Daniel 9:11-13, Zechariah 5:1-4, Zechariah 8:13-15, Malachi 2:1-2, Malachi 3:9, Malachi 4:5-6, Matthew 11:12-15, Matthew 10:21-22, Matthew 10:35-36, Luke 12:51-53, Revelation 6:1-11, Revelation 22:1-4

I love how these podcasts answer questions most pastors shy away from or just tell you...pray for answers or study the scriptures. If you have a study Bible with commentary you might notice that some of the scriptures here have no explanation. I encourage listeners to follow along in the scriptures here. It makes it much more understandable. These podcasts are getting me back into my beloved Bible!

I like how the Pastor breaks down the scripture so that it’s clear and understandable. I have been a Christian all my life and listening to these episodes has given me so much more understanding of the full picture than I’ve ever had.
You really do need to be ready to take the red-pill, if your a closed minded person you’ll never be able to fully understand the Bible and what God is doing and why.
Keep up the great work. This is needed in the days we live in.
