He is Mr. Kim Terry, who owned Terry's Total Fitness in Henderson for a number of years, and still performs personal training out of his home. Terry also enjoyed tremendous success in basketball and track and field as a youngster, which earned him a spot in the Henderson County High School Athletic Hall of Fame. That name is Susie Sommers Thurman . . .and from teacher, to editor, to author, she has certainly enjoyed a well versed and well respected career. Thurman's published works include a book simply entitled "Henderson", featuring a collection of postcards showcasing the rich history of her home town, among several other masterpieces.
