  • The Best Possible Start
    Apr 21 2020
The purpose of The Belt is to determine which American male, at any given time in the Open Era, held the mantel of being the best American man in tennis. The series starts at the beginning of the Open Era, as Arthur Ashe makes his way to the forefront of both professional tennis and American society as well. Beyond his remarkable career achievements, Ashe’s conduct and actions off of the court transcended American culture, and laid the groundwork for the generations of future tennis players that followed. Thus, it is only natural that he be declared the first recipient of The Belt. Don’t forget to give a 5 star review with your twitter/instagram handle for a chance to win some FREE CR gear!! • Immovable Object Meets Unstoppable Force
    Apr 21 2020
The purpose of The Belt is to determine which American male, at any given time in the Open Era, held the mantel of being the best American man in tennis. The next recipient of “The Belt” brought a Rock'N'Roll-like flair to the game, and finally made it "cool" to be an American tennis fan. That man, of course, is Jimmy Connors. Connors pushed American men's tennis to heights not seen in quite some time, and became an American sports icon. The man that tried to surpass would undoubtedly have an uphill climb. Fortunately for American tennis fans, John McEnroe was clearly up for the challenge. Don’t forget to give a 5 star review with your twitter/instagram handle for a chance to win some FREE CR gear!!
