2. NO ANNOYING PROLONGED COMMENTS FROM THE JUDGES! Kelly and Sara are judges I guess, but they def feel more like coaches.
3. NO ELIMINATIONS! That's right, all these awesome people/singers get to stay every week. Each week is more about overall growth. The singers, who are all great, some are farther along in their journey than others, get to continually improve. There's no fear of your favorite not coming back next week because the all mighty judge said they don't like them.
4. IT'S NOT DRAWN OUT FOR THE SAKE OF ENTERTAINMENT! I hate how all the other shows try to draw on your heart strings by sharing sad stories. This one feels more up lifting and you really get to hear why a song is important and the musical struggles for each song. There is a little bit of sappiness, 'cause it's music, but it's not overwhelming.
5. ADDITIONAL GOODNESS: you don't have to listen to each person's full song. If you're like me I just want to hear the guts of the song. That being said, you can still go listen to the full songs on Amazon Music. You can listen AT WORK. I don't watch a lot of TV anymore, but I love singing competitions. So this is wonderful!
