I know what it’s like to feel disillusioned with surface-level Christianity. Like you, I long for something deeper—a real, raw, and transformative faith. As the founding pastor of Christ’s Church of the Valley in suburban Philadelphia, I’ve had the privilege of guiding over 2,700 non-believers to become disciples of Jesus. Our church isn’t just a place of worship—it’s a movement. We've helped thousands far from God find hope in Jesus, planted churches in remote areas, built safe houses for trafficking victims, constructed homes for the poor, and donated millions to rescue and empower children in Kenya.

I believe in the Bible’s authority and hold to the core doctrines of Christianity as shared in the Nicene Creed and Lausanne Covenant. With 36 years of pastoral experience, a degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, and four books, my mission is to help people experience the radical, transformative power of Jesus.

But beyond ministry, I’m a family man. My wife, Dr. Lisa Jones, and I have been married for 36 years, and we’ve raised three amazing daughters. We love leading pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Greece, and Turkey and traveling to beautiful places on a shoestring. When we’re not traveling, you’ll find us hiking with our red golden retriever or watching her chase chickens in our yard. And come football season, I’m cheering on THE Ohio State Buckeyes and the Philadelphia Eagles.
