About this listen
The COVID business watch looks into how different industries and sectors have been affected by Covid-19 and this week,Tshegofatso Motswagae, the co-owner of Urbnature, a gift customising service business, speaks about running a business in a pandemic.
On the main topic, we talk about The Business of Vaccines. Professor Jannie Rossouw from the school of Economics and Business Sciences at Wits University talks more about the pharmaceutical industry, the implications of vaccine rollout on the economy and the costs. Later on we speak to Philani Mhlongo, a 5th year medical student about his personal experience with receiving the vaccine jab as well as being a frontline worker in the age of the pandemic.
