En el pasaje de la Escritura de hoy de 1 Juan 5:4-8, el Apóstol Juan dice que la fe que vence al mundo descansa dentro de la creencia de uno en Jesucristo como Salvador, quién ha venido por el agua y por la sangre. Jesucristo vino a este mundo «no mediante agua solamente, sino mediante agua y sangre». Juan claramente afirma aquí que el evangelio del agua y el Espíritu es el único evangelio verdadero que el Señor ha completado con el sacrificio de Su propio cuerpo.
