  • September is World Dementia Awareness Month and to mark it, two local charities have combined forces to provide support and information for Dementia Awareness week.

    Claire Cubberly from Alzheimer's Society Isle of Man and Jeanette Hogg, a Hospice Admiral Nurse from Forget Me Not, tell us about their charities.

    Forget Me Not Admiral Nurses will be joining up with partners from Manx Care, Manx Decaf, the Alzheimer's Society and other third sector partners, for a number of dementia awareness events through the week of 23 September. If you're worried about dementia, or caring for someone with dementia, and want more information, representatives from these groups will be in the Strand Shopping Centre on Friday 27th September from 11am until 3pm.
