Aussie entrepreneurs aren’t that different from American entrepreneurs, only they have to work with a weaker currency and a softer workforce. That makes their business leaders and success stories all the more impressive! Here was my experience with Aussie market movers and business owners after a trip down under.

Doesn't get Australia

Shows me just how much Americans don't get Australia. My husband (multi-dan black belt martial artist) has been mugged 3 times in the last 30 years in Sydney; generally, when he has been in his business suit. Each time his attackers were disarmed and incapacitated; usually dislocated shoulders or broken collarbones. Each time, as a registered martial artist, he called the police explained what happened and made sure his muggers were arrested and got the medical assistance they required.

Never has he been arrested for unreasonable or disproportionate use of force as this podcast suggests will happen. In the US odds are his muggers would have be armed with guns and the likelihood of someone being shot during one of those incident is significant.

This podcast is overly dramatic and completely misses the point of the gun laws.

BTW a magistrate is not a police commissioner, more of a local judge.
