    May 17 2024

Unfrosted Summary: “In 1963 Michigan, business rivals Kellogg's and Post compete to create a cake that could change breakfast forever."

Original air date: May 3, 2024

Adam and Corey take a break from Curb to review Jerry Seinfeld's directorial debut, Unfrosted! Not since The Merv Griffin Show episode of Seinfeld have the boys been this far apart in their scores. To say they are divided on Unfrosted would be an understatement lol!

  • The Twin Towers (Spec Script) by Billy Domineau Review
    Apr 20 2023

"In “Twin Towers,” Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer all deal with slightly mundane 9/11-related conundrums that, naturally, wind up intersecting with one another in the episode’s finale. Jerry develops an aversion to the dust that’s settled over New York City; Elaine discovers—much to her chagrin—that the guy she wanted to dump didn’t end up dying in the attack; George is mistaken for a mysterious hero who saved a dozen people from the World Trade Center; and Kramer tries to get the government to replace his box cutters, which were stolen by his friend and used in the 9/11 hijacking." - Caroline Siede (from the AVClub article)

This week on Cartwright! A Seinfeld Podcast, Adam and Corey review a Seinfeld spec script, written by Billy Domineau, dealing with the aftermath of 9/11. Originally written as parody, the script quickly gained notoriety thanks to an AVClub article. We highly recommend you read both the article and the script itself before listening to the review!

Even though the boys don't break down the script scene by scene like the would with a regular episode, they do rate it like one at the end. Let us know what you think of the script or our review on Patreon or our social media pages.

Thanks to our Patrons for keeping Cartwright going, post Seinfeld! Don't forget you can listen to our weekly Curb Your Enthusiasm aftershow!

  • George's Top 5 Girlfriends
    Mar 30 2023

This week on Cartwright! A Seinfeld Podcast, Adam and Corey rank their favorite George girlfriends! This one was a little bit tougher to do than the Kramer episode prior because George had a lot of girlfriends... like, A LOT! More than his character had any right to have, but that's television for you lol!

We hope you enjoy this departure from the "aftershow" format we produced for 9 seasons. Let us know what you think on our Facebook page or Patreon!

This Podcast is the Best, Jerry…the BEST!

Where has this podcast been all my life?!
And how am I the only one who has left a review?

I have an admittedly, probably unhealthy, obsession with “Seinfeld” and basically have a PhD in Seinfeldology. I have seen every episode SCORES of times and know each one backward and forward, so I was super excited to find this podcast, hosted by Adam & Corey - two other self-proclaimed “superfans” - allowing me to relive episodes on my long commutes for work (I am a home health nurse who drives 2 hours between home and my work area.)

While I don’t always agree with the hosts’ appraisals of each episode, oftentimes I do, and many times they have shown me a viewpoint I had never before considered (such as how a storyline would’ve been better if it had played out a bit differently; for example, George’s storyline in “The Gymnast.”)

Adam & Corey do go off on frequent tangents, but I don’t mind because it’s typically related to the episode (as with a particularly memorable side rant in “The Stall”) and it’s usually laugh-out-loud hilarious and relatable…just like “Seinfeld.”

(Side bar: man, I wish someone would create a “Big Bang Theory” or “Dexter” podcast like this one!)

This podcast is my “super terrific happy hour.” It is so much fun that I have 3 credits just sitting in my account unused because I’ve been listening to this podcast nonstop since I discovered it. The only thing that could improve this podcast would be for them to have me join them for an episode. Hell, I already interject my thoughts aloud when I’m listening in my car!

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
