The Story Teller at Fault - part of the incredible collection "Celtic Folk and Fairy Tales" selected and edited by Australian born folklorist, historian and writer Joseph Jacobs 1892. Along with many other accomplishments he went on to join The Folklore Society in England and became an editor of the society journal Folklore. One can also find a somewhat revised retelling in Naomi Baltuck's book "Apples from Heaven: Multicultural Folk Tales about Stories and Storytellers"
