  • We greet Christmas. It seems like it is going to be a silent night and a holy night this year. The city has become quiet and still. It is hard to see Christmas lights or decorations on the street as we face an economic downturn. This must be a reflection of the bad economy these days. This reminds us of how we should keep our faith as we have another Christmas this year. Let’s look a New Testament passage from Matthew.
    Verse 21 says, “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.” Our Lord was born into this world through a virgin and was called Jesus. The name “Jesus” means that it is the One who will save his people from their sins.
