前不久，我们在教会里举行圣餐，我们再次沉思大家所分享饼和酒的意义。
除了信徒们的洗礼，基督教的圣餐也是主吩附我们遵守的圣礼之一。通过圣餐我们必须认识到的一件事是他藉身体上的洗礼及流血涂抹了我们的罪孽。当主教导我们在圣餐里“纪念”饼和酒，他的意思是说我们在心里必须相信和牢记他的洗礼。
当主在最后的晚餐掰饼，把这饼和酒交给他的门徒时，他告诉他们:“你们拿着吃，这是我的身体…因为这是我立约的血，为多人流出来，使罪得赦”(马太福音 26:26-28)。
