  • The Lord is telling us, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1).
    A person is composed of three components: one’s spirit, flesh, and soul. The soul, which is in a person, is lacking among animals. That is why the Scripture tells us to test the spirits whether they are of God or Satan. We have to test whether someone’s spirit belongs to Jesus Christ or not by testing whether that person believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. In order to do that, we have to also test whether that person truly acknowledges Jesus Christ as God.
