《羅馬書》8：1-4節告訴我們在耶穌基督裏面的人擁有了什麽樣的信仰。這段經文的秘密就在於我們因信神的義，能滿足律法的所有要求。
什麽叫信神的義的信仰呢？就是對耶穌的洗禮及其血的信仰，我們的主藉以轉嫁了天下所有的罪孽。我們因信仰這位追求神的義並兌現了神諸般義的耶穌爲我們的救世主，就能戰勝罪孽。這就是順從神的義並因信得勝的信仰。
《羅馬書》8:1告訴我們說，“如今那些在基督耶穌裏的，就不定罪了。”居住在耶穌基督裏信仰神的義的人確實沒有罪。這種信仰基於耶穌的洗禮及其血，滿足了律法諸般義的要求。信仰神的義對於重生的聖徒是至關重要的。另外還有什麽辦法能使人類無罪嗎？由於通過耶穌基督堅定地信仰神的義，他們的罪孽全部消失了。這是因爲耶穌爲了那些信仰神的義的人，通過洗禮已將人類所有的罪孽都轉嫁到了他的身體上。
