The White guilt is suffocating

As a Polynesian to have a Hawaiian character in the story who only serves to be a mirror for white guilt and is annoying about what white people have done to us is just plain insulting. Our lives don’t revolve around what whites have done to us and our thoughts aren’t dominated by it either.
