  • Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
    May 4 2023

It's no small thing, dressing in a weird costume and gaining the power of the mighty ant. Wait, I guess it is. Anyway, enjoy our return to the marvel universe as we explore Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania! We were pleasantly surprised by a number of things but the biggest surprise had to be a cameo appearance by everyone's favorite... cameo guy. Give it a listen and let us know what you think. Don't forget to share, like, tweet, or just call someone to tell them about us.

  • Comic Books at the Bar
    Apr 27 2023

Sometimes you hear or see something out of the ordinary that you need to stop whatever you’re doing and talk to someone about it. A nun killing it at a poker table, the deleted scene from Free Willy where the whale actually landed on that kid, or you see a grown man sitting in a bar, alone, reading a comic book. Did you hear that? Tim thinks its perfectly normal to go to the local watering hole and whip out a comic. What do you think?

  • The Grand Budapest Hotel
    Apr 20 2023

In the snow globe of an Argentinian grandmother, inside a house on a mountain, in a room with a door marked, “No girls allowed,” two podcasters shout obscenities into microphones that are, themselves, snow globes belonging to an Argentinian grandmother. Inside those snow globes, two identical twins, both played by Bill Murray, sit knitting a sweater for the aforementioned Argentinian grandmother.

Look, I don’t know. It’s a Wes Anderson thing. You just kinda roll with it and enjoy the feels. This week we’re reviewing the 2014 movie, “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” Enjoy! Don’t forget to like and share on any social media platform you prefer. It helps the podcast, which currently is only listened to by Argentinian grandmothers.

  • Knives Out
    Apr 6 2023

How long has it been since an original screenplay was written and then put into production? After Knives Out, we’d have to say that it doesn’t happen often enough. This movie was a breath of fresh air in a world full of Comic Book movies and sequels. The original character of Benoit Blanc, as played by Daniel Craig, is extremely entertaining. We loved it and we hope that you’ll enjoy hearing our review of this movie. Don’t forget to like, share, and comment on the podcast, we think it helps.

  • The Menu
    Mar 23 2023

Today, for your listening pleasure, we have put together a fine selection of criticisms of Mark Mylod’s “The Menu.” While awaiting the first course, please enjoy a sampling of our latest intro music. Note the sadness in the tones and imagine what might be wrong with the musician who created it. Next, we’ll move into an amuse bouche specifically selected to cater to the most base of humankind, the everyman. We’ve named the amuse bouche, “Did you like it?” and while you’ll receive very little in the way of substance from the discussion, you will feel like you heard something. Finally, our main course begins with a vicious attack on Foodies that ends with a hint of vindication for Billy, who suffered great emotional harm at the hands of a megalomaniac chef. Dessert consists of the podcast hosts saying over and over again that things “go off the rails” until finally outro music starts and you are free to move onto a more meaningful time in your life.

  • Spiderhead
    Jan 12 2023

Would you submit yourself to terrible medical experiments if Chris Hemsworth asked you too? That’s basically what’s happening in this week's movie. Spiderhead is the story of a charismatic scientist, experimenting on prisoners but like, it seems pretty alright. Just how much would Billy and Tim put up with if it meant that Chris Hemsworth would smile at them and call them friends? Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and all the other internet things, it really helps us out.
