Loud, fast-talking and deceptively funny, this politically-independent "forward-thinking pragmatist" looks at the events shaping our world through a uniquely American lens. It's smarter than you think, and faster than you expect.Orator LLC Politics & Government

Everyone needs a dose of Dan's wisdom. It's too bad he stopped making this podcast.

Dan is more rational than most.

After a typically long wait, the patience pays off.
Common Sense, delivers constant quality in narrative, regardless of tangents (one of my favorite elements). Dan's social commentary is a robust labor of love.

Reliable alternative outlook

Clearly Dan is a man of the left, and his views of the present are clearly influenced by the politics of his younger years. He also doesn't see the right as slobbering racists prowling for violence (Dan don't let me down). I don't think anything he loves has been a culture war battlefield. He's at least trying not to be tribal.

I like and dislike that I have to rethink my own position on a lot of issues. I believe if I can better understand myself then I can be a benefit to those around me.

The way he looks at all sides of an issue.

It has been too long between Common Sense episodes. And as always avoid the flying monkeys!

Good to hear from Dan again

Harvard, city, class above all. Saw this in Kristol, Cavuto, McCain and so many others. You are enraged by his classlessness, we the masses see the only alternative to all the lawlessness and just plain filth the left is demanding we accept and kneel to. They are demanding we turn over our churches, schools, businesses, gov and one single man was available to say no. This poor huckster was the only person standing in their way. Our one last gasp. Perhaps his gift was getting the left to fully reveal themselves, which they have surely done. But where your rage lies reveals you.
