  • EP270: Frank Lloyd Wright and the Taliesin Massacre
    Jun 27 2025
On a quiet hill in Spring Green, Wisconsin, the legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright built his dream home — a sanctuary of design and serenity he called Taliesin. But on a warm August day in 1914, that dream turned to ash and blood. This is not just a story of architectural genius or personal tragedy. It’s a chilling tale of obsession, rage, and a massacre that shattered the peaceful facade of one of America’s most iconic homes. A servant with a hidden grudge… a fire with deadly intent… and seven people left brutally murdered, including the woman Wright loved most.

  • EP267: The Yosemite Killer
    May 2 2025
In EP267, we examine the deeply unsettling case of Cary Stayner, the Yosemite Killer. On the surface, Cary seemed quiet--reserved, even overlooked. But behind that silence was a storm of inner torment, obsession, and darkness. What makes his story even more chilling is the irony: Cary Stayner, was the brother of Steven Stayner (who we discussed in EP266), a national hero who survived a childhood abduction. While the world watched one brother's trauma unfold in the headlines, the other battled invisible demons--ones that would eventually erupt in brutal violence. This is not just the story of a killer- it's the story of unresolved trauma, twisted fantasies, and the shadow legacy of a family marked by tragedy.

I LOVE this podcast. It's everything I love about true crime podcasts all in one place! I want to get right into the story and these ladies do just that. These are well researched cases, most of which I have never heard (I thought that was impossible due to the amount of true crime podcasts I have blown through!) Thank you for everything you ladies do in producing a fabulous true crime podcast. I'm definitely a listener for life!

I LOVE Tonya and Talia! This was the 2nd true crime podcast I listened to and LOVED from the beginning. I've tried other podcasts but they are NOT Tonya and Talia! Definitely a MUST listen!

My favorite podcast!

I usually tend to stay away from podcasts that have more than one host because in my experience they tend to get off subject and all I want to do is listen to some murder. These ladies don't do that, they stay focused on the story and they're both pretty hilarious and entertaining. I'm definitely sticking around for this ome!

Entertaining and informative

Love your podcasts!!!
This guy sounds like a spoiled brat that basically got away with bad behavior starting at a young age. His mother appears to have covered up for him whenever he did something wrong instead of getting him help. Therefore, the result of this escalation is the multiple deaths of vulnerable women. The nerve of her to sue the police department for Toby!
Keep up the good work ladies!

SMH!

Love this show! I love the way y'all give the info straight forward and also play of each other. It's comedic without being disrespectful of the victims.

I love that you get to the point and tell the story but also have great banter between the two of you.

I am officially obsessed with this podcast. I just started it last week & I'm ALREADY almost through every episode. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do when I get caught up.
I love the fact I don't have to fast forward through endless chatter like I do on some podcasts. I love the fact there has only been 2 stories so far of things I've actually heard about before & I listen to all true crime. Lastly, I love that they don't shy away from the gruesome but give a warning before hand in case it might be too much for someone.
All in all, 5 stars. I would give it more if I could.

I'm officially obsessed

Great job ladies! One thing that disgusts me with this one is the short ass prison sentences! It should be 25 yrs for each person killed. Ughhh.

Horrible parents

Great story ladies, you have an, obvious, scheme bad planning (from the story) means you have a short episode.

You ladies are wonderful I've seen the hateful remarks you ladies receive and much like you 2; it's funny to hear how upset people get about true crime. (Go fund me idea send the toolbox murders tapes) to the people who get on to you for trivial stuff.

Yalls accents are part of the experience keep doing what your doing it's wonderful and me and my spouse look forward to your new episodes.

Afterthought I think Ariel Castro should have picked the wife up then this wouldn't have happened

Welp

I own a bakery and my entire staff and I are obsessed. We binged the last 3 years worth of episodes in 6 weeks, and just signed up on Patreon for more. We can not get enough. We even bought a better Bluetooth speaker so we can hear it better.

We appreciate that you ladies always respect the victim and I especially appreciate the kindness and compassion you give to the victims of domestic violence. I'm a DV survivor, so this is often touchy for me. Most of us here are with Tanya - no redemption for the criminals. Though, you do have one here who is on your side, Talia! Thank you for the laughs, never shying from the details, and the swearing. We also LOVE review the reviewer. All the crappy reviewers can go to h*ll.
