I recently had the opportunity to speak with Steve Rawles from the legendary Canadian punk band Belvedere. We talked about the band getting back together, upcoming tours, and their longevity. But the subject matter took a meaningful turn when the conversation landed on fatherhood and navigating that while in the music industry. We also dove into the hidden Canadian Indgenocide against Indigenous people that took place in their Residential schools at the hands of the Government and Catholic church. This podcast runs for about 20 minutes. It's a great fit for a short drive or lunch break.

He is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Scranton Fringe Festival as well as a proud member of the New Vintage Ensemble and the Dramatist Guild of America.

In a previous life, he co-founded The Vintage, an all-ages art and music venue/coffeehouse that was a popular destination in Northeast PA for several years.

I recently saw a post from Jace Worsham in a Pop Punk Facebook group. He explained that a video of him rapping was going viral on TikTok, had almost 3 million views and that he had been fired from his job because of it. My initial reaction was... Well, it's just a grocery store job, if he's got some hustle he can turn those 2.6 million views into something. It might have been worth it. Then I noticed that it was a video someone else had taken of him and put on their TikTok account. So, my dude Jace wasn't getting any of the views, clout, or potential benefits that can come along with going viral. I HATE seeing people taken advantage of. So... my dad's side kicked in. I wanted to have Jace on the podcast and give him a platform to promote himself. I also wanted to give him some advice as to how he might be able to still salvage some clout from the viral video where he's rapping one of Ghostmane's songs.
