    Kay is still upset with Carter. While she patrols the outside of the base, she finds some commotion in the Comm Room. She goes to investigate and finds several CB members searching for a crashed shuttle. While they don't know exactly where it landed, they do know the general area. The Captain decides to send a search and rescue team. Kay decides she wants to go, much to Carter's dismay. But the shuttle landed in the jungle and the jungle can be a very dangerous place. So in an effort to postpone it, he takes off on an ATG and doesn't come back for hours. Later, he tells Kay about his decision to stay which upsets her. Carter also sees a fiery object in the sky and forces Max to do a scan to find out exactly what it was.     Crystal Blue is an outpost on the planet Thera II. The Earth's Defense Force (EDF) sends military personnel to the Theras when they break rules or go against protocol. A kind of "time out" if you will. Being sent to the Theras isn't fun, but it beats a dishonorable discharge. In this inaugural episode, Stooge and Palmer find themselves sent to Crystal Blue where they will be forced to monitor space travel and help build Air Purifier Towers (APTs). It doesn't seem like the worse job in the galaxy, but it all depends how long you have to stay. Hopefully their terms are short...
