  • Jack Flaherty didn't have it but Dave Roberts pulled him after 1.1 the bullpen calmed things down and then in the top of the 5th the Yankees defense imploded after Judge drop a fly ball, Volpe made a throwing error and Cole forgot to cover first base or Rizzo was lazy getting to the bag it lead to a Freddie Freeman 2 rbi single followed by a Teo 2 rbi double to tie the game. Yankees would regain the lead but the Dodgers loaded the bases in the 8th then with 2 sac flys they regained the lead. Walker Buehler would come in out of the bullpen on 2 days rest to slam the door on New York and secure their 8th World Championship.
