The cognitive story behind a simple act of aggression. How our brain is essentially stuck in the Stone Age, struggling to deal with the complexity and pressures of modern life. Feb 23 2021

Our brain is a machine for jumping to conclusions. What can I say? Classic Derren Entertainment

Derren never fails to amaze me with his mind tricks and astonishing psychological experiments. Even though he’s his own worst critic, he is in my view one of the most gifted people in entertainment and retaining people’s attention whilst mesmerizing them with his magic & charm. Boot Camp is the perfect blend of wit and fascinating data with a hint of mystery delivered in a tongue-in-cheek manner. Love it!

与happy的区别

More citations than Happy, closer to the frontier of modern psychology.I have trouble understanding the accents of some experts though.....I'm not a native English speaker

A great listen

Superb delivery just like with the book ‘Happy’.

Thought provoking and eye opening, looking into how we get manipulated. Certainly going to be conscious of making quick decisions going forward.

Only downside was that there was only 8 episodes. Luckily there is another series from Derren to get straight into.👍

Should be required listening for anyone with a brain

I’ve admired Derren Brown’s observations on the human mind through his various tv programs for years. But this deeper dive into the finer points of human psychology was especially interesting to listen to, as well as greatly entertaining. The combination of Derren’s storytelling and the additions from experts in the pertinent fields made for a very enjoyable listening experience. Gave me quite a lot to ponder afterward.
