A glorious return mission for the homie Jamali, as he and Pip link up for another awesome go-round. Jamali is always fantastic whatever you see or him on, and here is a really cool catch up with a bunch of what has happened lately as well as what is to come. The focus for the most part though is the new series he's been making called 'Follow The Leader' - you'll surely have caught his previous series 'Hate Thy Neighbour', and this is not like a follow on from that or anything but if you know Jamali's steez by now you'll definitely get along famously with this. Your topics to enjoy this episode include a crazy Rotterdam adventure gone wrong, shady promoters (see Tribe Called Quest's rule 4080), the new series and the mental conflicts to go through with the content, meeting the main people of each episode in real life, the Louis Theroux machine, and how his heart is comedy. This week Pip is joined by the acting treasure who is currently starring in 'Death Of England: Michael' - it's THOMAS COOMBES!

On that subject, you'll hear a lot about Death Of England in this ep as Thomas breaks down the prep and schedule of the whole thing (three individual plays, one of which he is the solo star) which sounds utterly gruelling... Aside from that, the whole project is a magnificent work and for sure deserves viewing and attendance. Otherwise, Thomas goes in on a ton of his other roles, including The Acolyte, Boiling Point and Baby Reindeer, as well as celebrating the goodness of Stephen Grahame when the chance arises. A great chat and definitely something for all, especially those of actorial interest.

This week Pip is joined by podcast pal and Hardcore Listing homie STU WHIFFEN to celebrate the life of one of the most unconventional but most memorable soundpeople in the game, who sadly passed on in the middle of this year - SOUNDMAN JIM!

You'll notice that there are exclamation marks still present there on the intro words. Well, to anyone who was fortunate enough to cross paths with Jim, you'd know that while his absence is incredibly sad and is mourned in full, his presence in life was one to truly enjoy and always brought light and laughter to those around to absorb it. In this episode, you'll hear a nice few anecdotes about Pip and Stu's experiences working and socialising with the legendary human, and while this isn't someone who is a celebrity, famous, or a name that everyone will recognise, it's a really lovely chance to be let in on a side of life that you might not otherwise see. I'm sure we all have some kind of iteration of a Jim in our lives, whoever that may be for you, so you might relate and really enjoy hearing about the man, but if not, feel free to join in on hearing about someone who genuinely meant a lot to many people and was such a big part in a lot of folks careers - including the old Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip days!
