Thank you to guests that have provided their contributions to D’Oh! for nearly 4 years. To our Patreon’s your support has meant that this show has been able to make a contribution to discussions about Labor and union activism, democratic socialism, Australian elections (its Dan’s fault), recent activist history, struggle in Chile and beyond.

We initially intended this show as a way to engage with ACT Labor activists during the COVID years we did that and have been able to provide content to an audience many, many times larger then the dozens of Labor activists we were talking with. We’re especially proud to have supported the successful campaign for the introduction of a four-day work into ACT Labor’s platform (an ACT Government trail is coming). We’ve used this platform to promote struggle inside and outside Labor on issues such as empowered-democratic unions, ending Australia’s brutal treatment the poor, getting the market out of education and solidarity for justice internationally.

Ben is working on a project to provide more political education content for activists grappling with how to make Australian Labor governments deliver the transformative agenda we urgently need for people and planet. So stay tuned.

  • What's Dan gone and done now? with Josh Gordon The Age
    Oct 4 2023
In which we learn that former Victorian state Premier, Dan Andrews, may have recently resigned from his post as leader of the second most populous Australian province for reasonable reasons....or is there a hidden conspiracy to make Victorians vegan, woke, eco-terrorists? Ben has a chat with longtime observer of Victorian and Australian parliamentary politics and economy, Josh Gordon, who writes for The Age newspaper, speaking in his own capacity. They discuss political legacies: the personal and political; Victorian Labor (is it still under federal control??) and the economic factors pressuring the Victorian and Australian governments.
