  • Ed Stewart (23 April 1941 – 9 January 2016) had a long and illustrious career in broadcasting. Perhaps best known for presenting "Junior Choice" on BBC Radio, Ed started his career in Hong Kong, he was a radio pirate in the mid sixties before becoming a BBC stalwart and presenter of the Friday evening childrens' programme "Crackerjack". Shout it! This programme was originally broadcast on The Wireless and included Ed's favourite five pieces of music. For rights reasons we can't leave the music in the podcast so you may just hear the odd end note in the edit. The Everton chat really dates the recording!
