1. Intro: Have You Been Grain-Washed?
Quick rundown of what the ADA and most dietitians recommend.
The idea that we “need” grains for fiber, B vitamins, or protein.
But is that actually true… or just good marketing?
2. What Are Grains, Really?
Dry, starchy seeds of grass like wheat, corn, rice, oats, barley, quinoa.
Cheap, high-calorie, long shelf life = perfect for food companies, not for your
health.
Turn into glucose faster than sugar → insulin spike → fat storage.
3. Why Grains Are Everywhere
Heavily subsidized crops = mass production.
Found in: bread, crackers, soy sauce, ice cream, even salad dressings.
