I realized after listening to this that I have already learned about this organization. There is a series on TV about it on Netflix but it is all in Spanish. It is much more exciting and they showed actual photographs of the people involved. They matched the actors perfectly. If you're interested in this you ought to check out keyword cartels on Netflix or kingpin.
