About this listen
John Gotti: To maintain a successful enterprise a gang has to appeal to new recruits. No one did this better than the Italian-American Mafia and its most famous boss, John Gotti.

There is also "no" discussion of the anthropology of gangs, it's just a voice novel, devoid of "real" information.
Finally, Mr. Caine, whom I admire tremendously as an actor, also told a significant material "untruth." He "never" left the Mafia. As, a member of Hollywood, he's all the way in, as a "made-man." I "not" saying he doesn't deserve his status. I'm saying he lied to us, giving the audience a significantly "false" perception of both the Mafia and the State, as they have always worked "together." Why do you think ALL the "neighborhood-watch" people use "Mafia" gangsigns! This is potentially "extremely" dangerous for both John and Jane Doe.
This novel wasn't entertaining and "decreased" our safety, by providing a completely "fictional" world view.
Pure Propaganda
