Bonnie Greer
About this listen
In the bone store at the Museum of London, Bonnie visits Londoners of African descent. Their skeletons tell a new story about Africa and Europe, in which Europe was the continent of starvation, disease and suffering, while Africans grew up healthy and strong. Bonnie discovers the magical power of Medieval blackness - used as a symbol of power in the struggle for world domination, between Christianity and Islam.

Narration is not getting better but the interviewed people are amazing. Bonnie Greer is pushing her ideas and tries to interrupt the experts with her tiny little ideas. This is all much bigger, not just a play, it's a whole world that has been influenced by black history etc.
The interviewed people have something to say which gave me another way of looking at art and the time period covered in this episode.
Magdeburg is a city I know and will now revisit with the new ideas in mind.
Interviews are super cool
