About this listen

[Contains explicit content] Melissa Lopez is starting to become unnerved by what she has discovered. The last few months of Anna Winslow's life refuse to add up. Injured, confused, in fear of her own life, Melissa refuses to abandon her quest for the truth and continues to report on her discoveries.

She is now determined to find out whether Anna had been faking her hearing loss or not — and why Timmins Hill, the psychiatric hospital Anna had been a patient in, has now closed down.

I actually liked the references to Wizard of Oz at the beginning of this episode. I can see that there's quite a bit of plot twists that are starting to occur in this episode which makes things quite interesting. I do like how things are quite convoluted and getting murky as it really makes you think about what is going on during the course of the episode. I typically like series that make you think about what is going on.

This had great promise to be an interesting story, but failed miserably. I even had problems getting 2 of the episodes to play. For all the references to movies like Sixth Sense and Wizard of Oz, this story wasn't even on the same playing field as those movies.

She actually started the chapter with the myth of the hanging munchkin from the Wizard of Oz. This tells me she had nothing to write and was just trying to fill her pages. The accents are atrocious.
